Review - No 7 Quick Thinking Wipes

No.7 Wipes <3
Wipes are awful, yes I know, but I still find them good for taking off the bulk of your make-up before you go in with a proper cleansing routine.

Having been given the hard sell by the lady at the till in Boots one morning, I was sceptical but my scepticism was short lived. These wipes are part of the Beautiful Skin range, and having raved about the Hot Cloth Cleanser, I decided to give them a whirl!

These wipes are SO good for breaking down the bulk of your make-up, even taking off lash glue and mascara with no hassle. They glide through foundation, blush, contour and eye-shadows with ease and don't burn or tighten the skin. They claim to be able to remove waterproof mascara, which they do and they also make short work of liquid liners too.

Honestly I haven't found a wipe I like as much since the Skin Wisdom line from Tesco.

These wipes are 9.25 for a packet of 30 in all Boots stores and they are worth every red cent.

So ladies, what do you think?

June BBC Day 11: A Bargain Buy You Would Recommend

Today I get to recommend bargain buys! This is what I'm good at, so strap in, it's gonna be a wild ride... In quite a gentle way, really!

Boots Natural Collection Moisture Shine Lipstick - Crimson
It saddens me to think that nobody willingly admits to owning these! I know plenty of people who dig their foundation, their powders, blush, every other part of the range, but overlook these beauties! At €3.09 a go, they are cheap as chips, and they're so comfy on! They have a cream finish, too! I am slowly accumulating a decent collection of lipsticks and these guys started the trend!

NYC Colour Expert Last Nail Polish - Bubblegum

I eyeballed this color every time I saw it for weeks until I finally bought it! €1.99 in Penneys hardly broke the bank, but it was more a stance on the amount of polish I had been buying in the lead up to my investment in this one! I had to be alone to get this one, because I had been with people who stopped me every time I tried to buy it in their company! It lasts pretty well, needing only two coats for opacity! Bargain polishes are good quality when you give them a chance!

Skin Wisdom Youth Protect Facial Wipes

I've spoken about these before, but I will just recommend these again because I can! These babies are 1.69 in Tesco and they rule!!! They take off every trace of mascara, and they don't irritate my face, which is super sensitive! I really can't say enough about these wipes only that you should try them! They're the bomb diggity!

What bargain buys do you recommend? What would you try from my 3 picks? Do you use budget brands? If not, why don't you dive in, and give these 3 products a try?

Oh God, I've Become A Girly-Girl!!

Girls, we all love our beauty products and make up. Its just the way we are, and guys wont ever understand why we need 3 different mascaras, or 100 bottles of nail polish, but we do. Or at least, that's what we tell ourselves!

We all have our favourites though, so here's mine. My favourites, for my face!

Skin Wisdom Youth Protect Facial Wipes.

Skin Wisdom Youth Protect
These bad boys are amazing! I stumbled across these when I finished my Simple Kind-To-Skin wipes. They have a "Recommended Age Group" on the side of the nice, shiny pink foil packet, saying you should use these between the ages of 20-35. I suppose, those are the years between which you'd wanna be protecting that youth of yours, missus! They smell lovely and they do a great job of stripping off makeup, mascara, everything! I will say that you need a good moisturiser for after them, because they can leave your skin a bit tight. Maybe that's the Youth Protect bit?!

They claim to cleanse, tone and moisturise in one easy step, and are enriched with rhodiola rosea and amino acids, as well as cranberry and white tea.

They also claim to be suitable for all skin types, but I would say if you have dry skin, either avoid them entirely, or use a damn good moisturiser after them!

At €1.69 (I think!), in Tesco, I'd recommend them, even just to see if they do anything for your skin, but personally, I love them and have already repurchased them, in case they ever disappear from the shelves!
